No Shortage of Surprises in 2020

What else can you expect in 2020?!  One thing is for sure … 2020 is not short on surprises. Who would have guessed that one of Hot Springs’ iconic places would have changed hands?  Last month local entrepreneur, Lee Beasley bought McClard’s Bar-B-Q from the McClard family. Oaklawn broke records on pony bets in spite of the pandemic with no fans in the grandstands this year. The camp grounds have been busting at the seams with families flocking to the woods, and Lake Hamilton has been overflowing with boaters every weekend.  Every day looks like a holiday around Hot Springs.

Take a look at the latest real estate market for residential properties sold in Garland County.  Inventory continues to drop with only 542 homes on the market today, creating a scramble for home buyers.
